Stephen A. Smith Ready For His Extreme Closeup
This image was lost some time after publication. Well, last night was the premiere of ESPN amplified irritant Stephen A. Smith's new show "Quite Frankly." We're sad to say that we watched it, though, considering we live about three blocks from where they film the show, we pretty much could have heard him yelling just by opening our window.
So how was it? Well, what do you think? Smith yelled about Rafael Palmeiro — including a bizarre riff on the virtues of speaking extemporanously instead of reading from a sheet of paper — nodded as his pal Allen Iverson mumbled incoherently and, sadly, didn't do that goofy dance from the commercials.
Other than that ... well, all right, you got us: We shut it off after five minutes. Come on. We're impressed we made it that long.
