We're going to try to tear ourselves away from CNN's monthly let's pretend we're not rooting for a live plane crash because it would be outstanding television to watch Michigan State play Chaminade on ESPN2 in about 10 minutes.
The top-five-ranked Michigan State is playing so early today after they lost by 22 points to Hawaii over the weekend, a game in which several Spartans players had to leave because of cramping. This leads us to one of our favorite picture motifs, via Big Ten Wonk: The middle aged man looking incredibly pissed off while wearing a ridiculous Hawaii shirt. Is it possible to do anything dignified wearing an Hawaiian shirt? They really shouldn't allow photographers at games where all the coaches are wearing Hawaiian shirts.
