If you were watching ESPN yesterday afternoon — like, say, if you don't have a job, or have some other reason to sit on your couch all day — you might have noticed a brief interruption in ESPN service. What happened? The truck seen above — it wasn't being driven by Jim Bowden, in town for an interview, was it? — plowed into a telephone poll just outside the "Building 3," where most of the channel's producers work.

The interruption was brief — the lights just kind of flickered for a moment before the generators kicked in — but hey, this is yet another example of why they need speed bumps over there in Bristol. Unless, of course, it was just Stuart Scott, in a desperate hurry to make it to David Blaine's side. "He needs all the support he can get!"

Unless, of course, it was this guy.
