Unlike Nick Saban and his leather-and-laces heart, a range of NBA players expressed their thoughts about the results of the presidential election. Stan Van Gundy fired quite the salvo this morning, and a handful of players have also weighed in.
LeBron James posted a lengthy message soundtracked by Kendrick Lamar, in which he encouraged those pissed off by Trump’s win not to “lose faith.”As he said, “Minorities and Women in all please know that this isn’t the end, it’s just a very challenging obstacle that we will overcome!!”
James’s teammate J.R. Smith posted a photo of his daughter and also lamented Trump’s election.
Jamal Crawford struck a lighter tone and marveled at the sheer absurdity of last night.
