Iona 69, Rider 57. A bunch of teams got big wins yesterday... NC State, Texas A&M, USC, Colorado, South Florida. But I doubt that any of the winners of those games felt as good as the Gaels of Iona. Coming into the day with an 0-22 record, as perfect as untouched snow, the Gaels were finally able to drop down and do some snowmen yesterday. And for an added bonus, they even beat a team with a winning record, the Rider... whatevers. Devon Clarke with 19 for Iona.

NC State 83, (3) North Carolina 79. Congratulations to Wolfpack head coach Sidney Lowe on the huge win... but if winning means you're going to keep wearing that coat, then I don't know if it's worth it. Look at you. You're the black Craig Sager. Courtney Fells lead the Wolfpack with 21, Ben McCauley had 17 and Gavin Grant chipped in 16. For UNC, Tyler Hansbrough led the way with 24.

(5) UCLA 82, Oregon State 35. Wow. It's a shame that Iona never got a crack at Oregon State. Not only would they have won, but they'd have had three or four starters with triple doubles. "We were exposed in every possible way," said coach Jay John of his Beavers. All 15 Bruins on the roster got into the Beaver feast, with Arron Afflalo and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute going for 16 and 14, respectively.

(8) Texas A&M 69, (6) Kansas 66. Road wins don't get a lot bigger than that... the Aggies beat the Jayhawks in the Phog and took sole possession of the lead in the Big 12 behind the clutch performance of Acie Law. Acie Law, you see, isn't the type of guy who's afraid to put his hand on his shorts, own his junk, and let the sheer enormity carry him to victory. He scores A&M's last five points to cap the comeback.
