Didn't the man just sign with the Warriors? I guess his surgically repaired knee couldn't keep up with Nellie's 6-second shot-clock offense.
Whoa whoa whoa.... time out!
It's OK Will, take a time out, you'll feel better.
@Yostal: When will Michigan be out from under violations related to him?
Have you ever watched the man move up and down the court? He's made me feel old for the last 10 seasons.
@Dieter: I think that it will be 2013, that's at least when the University can once more acknowledge his existence. Jalen Rose is OK.
I know what this guy's going through, i felt the same way when Eric Montross retired...
I'll feel old when Chris Webber Jr. is playing for Michigan in the national championship calling time outs he doesnt have while Donald Williams Jr. looks on in glee!
I feel old because I can't freakin sleep right now.
Webber's retiring? Who's next, Christian Laettner?
Also, off topic: Deadspin was mentioned on WFAN today. That is all.
Like Webber, I entered the working world around 1994. Out of sympathy, I retired from my career yesterday as well.
Of course, I'm a computer programmer who makes five figures a year, so I'm not sure I made a wise decision.
Dan Cortese totally schooled C Webb in MTV's Rock 'n Jock Basketball.
Chris Webber's retirement makes us all continue to feel bitter about the years he spent dogging it in Philadelphia.
Fixed.
