If you threw them all in a fondu pot, sure bet they'd complain a lot.
/His name is Tom. He's sick of the Knicks.
Just as LBJ lost Cronkite on the War in Vietnam, the Dolans have lost Brokaw on the State of the Knicks. I expect mass marching on the Garden any day now.
Love the Fausto deal, great signing. Thinking about naming my first son Fausto.
While names like Brokaw have left, Katie Couric has been at every Knick game this year but nobody seems to pay any attention
@Chief Wahoo: I agree with (most of) that. I'm also hoping that someone remembered to take that huge-ass deal for C.C. off the table before he eats it.
Was the Indians' extension of Fausto Carmona a good one?
Aboslutely. April is not the time to panic. Unless of course you happen to be a Tigers fan.
@Magnakai Haaskivi: I think those 260+ innings for CC last year might have hurt him more than the buffet table.
@Chief Wahoo: I was thinking Fausta if it was a girl.
Horrible extension. They should have let Carmona sign with the Mets.
Maybe PeteJayhawk, Bowie Ashes, or Tater can verify this, but I was at the Lawrence parade, and there is simply no way there were 80,000 people there. Not even close.
I think the SeaFence guy is having a heart attack in that final pic.
BTW, I don't feel sympathy for a franchise who wants a city to pay for a new arena when they were previously owned by the douchebag responsible for high-priced coffee on every street corner. And I've never understood why you'd want to rent when you can own...
@Chief Wahoo: Either that or his complete lack of willpower when it comes to exercising. That probably affects something.
Now that the Yankees have unearthed Big Papi's jersey from their new stadium's concrete, presumably the Curse on Ortiz caused by burying his jersey there will be lifted.
I cannot wait for the Sonics to come here to OKC!
