Our first field trip ever for this here site was our trip to "Quite Frankly With Stephen A. Smith," back when it was on the air. This ended up causing a tiff in the pages of the Chicago Tribune, of all places.

We've since made our peace with Stephen A. — at least internally — and even admire the intestinal fortitude to have open comments on his personal site. That takes guts, and confidence in what you're doing. We salute that. Even if we sometimes turn the volume down on the television a little bit when he's talking. Still.

So: Do you like the Stephen A. Smith? Do you not like the Stephen A. Smith? Go go go.
