UCF Conference Call Takes a Detour Through Phone Sex Line
Fresh off a 17-0 victory over South Carolina State, the University of Central Florida set up a conference call with Notre Dame coach for a day, George O'Leary. Which would have been great. Except the released number was one-digit off and was actually a phone sex line. Uh oh. Cue the intrepid reporters at the Orlando Sentinel:
When I dialed in, the voice on the other line said, "Hi sexy, you've reached the one-on-one fantasy line." I gasped, hung up and figured I must have dialed the wrong number. So, I checked the UCF news release and dialed again, but I got the same phone sex hotline complete with offers I can't really post on this blog.
Come on, it's a blog, you can post them. We won't tell. UCF's new director of athletic communications, Leigh Torbin, felt terrible about his error and "deeply apologized." This is when blaming interns come in really handy. Oops.
