Barnes broke the middle finger when his hand hit the rim while trying to block a shot with 1:56 left in the first half of a home loss Friday to the Golden State Warriors. The team announced afterward that he was out indefinitely.

Barnes, 22, has scored 20 or more points 34 times and has posted 25 double-doubles, including four triple-doubles this season.
Over 211 career games (210 starts) with the Raptors, Barnes — the No. 4 pick in the 2021 draft — has averages of 16.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.1 steals. He was the 2021-22 NBA Rookie of the Year.
