Via a two-and-a-half-year-old Hot Clicks post comes this video of MTV "personality" Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi singing the Lucas Prata "hit" "And We Say...Let's Go Mets" which I had never heard of before. Maybe because it's factually untrue.

Time for an FJM-style* song lyrics breakdown, kids.

"And We Say...Let's Go Mets"
Performed by Lucas Prata
Lyrics by David Brody

The New York Mets have always been amazin'.
Well, there were those two times, but it's a little much to claim always, here.

We don't have one quick Carlos, we've got two.
Bullshit. Beltran's lost at least three steps, and Delgado gets a hip flexor just thinking about running out a grounder.

So when that Jose Reyes wants, he's blazing.
This part is arguable. It posits that Reyes is an underachiever, which I like, but ignores his constant state of being injured.

Billy Wagner closes, throwing heat at you (you, you)
The only things Mets closers are throwing is their fists.

Do you believe that this is the Mets season?
Messrs. Prata and Brody, I do not.

Yes you know you do.
Pushy New York fans? What are the odds.

You gotta believe that this is the team to take.
I went to a Mets game a few weeks ago. Angel Pagan was their best player and Johan Santana was outpitched by Brett Myers. I will not be taking the Mets any time soon for anything.

We say Yeah, Yeah, Yeah (Yeah, Yeah, Yeah)/Let's go-o-o (Let's go Mets)
This song's lyrics were written by the guy who wrote "Who Let The Dogs Out." Stick to doing the fucking wave, Mets fans.

*Six more days! I hope they use this post.
