Donovan McNabb Is A College Basketball Analyst, Maybe Still A Redskin?
CSN announced that Redskins QB Donovan McNabb will join their ranks as a college basketball analyst during the first round of the NCAA tournament. McNabb was a football star at Syracuse, but also walked on to the basketball team and played two seasons as a reserve. According to Dan Steinberg of the he will appear on Comcast's SportsNet Central at 10 and 11 p.m. on Thursday and on Saturday evening. This 2007 SportsCenter clip certainly proves that he is comfortable making banal remarks about his own game ("get that out of here," "and one," and even "ballin'!"), so yeah, he's qualified.
If he does well, maybe they'll add a second-round extension. McNabb will be CSN college hoops analyst [D.C. Sports Blog]
