Time For Yet Another Team To Roll The Dice With Milton Bradley
Oh god, that's awful, I'm sorry. Let's try this again.
The Mariners designated Bradley for assignment today, bringing an end to his time in Seattle. They were the 8th team in his 12-year career to take a chance on the mercurial outfield, but his season-plus has already featured him leaving the team to deal with personal issues and an offseason arrest. Which isn't even to mention a suspension and unrelated ejection in just the past week. His .218 average wasn't particularly justifying his employment, either.
Bradley will hit waivers and be released if no one wants him. (Someone will, though. Someone always does.) This coming just two days after unofficial Milton Bradley Day, too.
