Yesterday, 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh untucked his shirt, chest-bumped a lineman, and then shook hands with losing coach Jim Schwartz. Then he (allegedly) yelled "Fuck you!" or "Fuck yeah!" at Schwartz as he ran away and towards the tunnel, which is (allegedly) what set off the Lions coach and led to this awkward face-off between the two teams.

It was all very silly, because it was all very much what you might expect from the frat boy friendship gone sour after a contentious beer pong game, and not from two NFL coaches. But it is Jim Harbaugh we're talking about here. To borrow from ESPN's stern-faced analysis:

Jim Harbaugh was over the top. He should not have over-zealously slapped Jim Schwartz's back or shook his hand so hard.

(The ESPN story does not include comment from the Mothers Against Hard Hand Shaking And Over-Zealous Back-Slapping.)

Harbaugh says he's not sorry ("I'm not going to apologize for that. If that offends you or anyone else, so be it," he told the Chronicle), because his team is 5-1 and because he's probably still on a testosterone high after his inspiring post-game speech: "Clutch! CLUTCH!" is not poetic, but it is loud and obnoxious, and that's about what we expected from Harbaugh.
