Clemson City Police reported that over 10,000 customers of Duke Energy in Pickens County lost power last night due to a fire. No word if Virginia Tech is a customer.
According to Clemson officials, it does not appear that the campus ever lost power. Power was eventually restored to the rest of the city around 11:00 p.m, not too long after Clemson smoked Virginia Tech 38-10 to win the ACC championship.
