In November, Bogosian dropped Cody Eakin with an elbow across the head. It was arguably clean. In December, Bogoian wrecked Pierre-Marc Bouchard face-first into the boards. It was very arguably dirty. Both times, Bogosian escaped suspension.
Last night, he outright destroyed Hurricanes winger Andreas Nodl, pretty clearly leaving his feet before the moment of impact. Bogosian got nailed for charging and took a game misconduct, and we can't imagine there won't be a phone call from Brendan Shanahan in his future. With Winnipeg just two points out of the eight spot in the east, it was a poor time for Bogosian to test his luck a third time.
Update: Hey, what do I know? Bob McKenzie is reporting that Bogosian won't face any supplemental discipline. Perhaps Shanahan doesn't like to be bothered on Monday mornings.
