The heartwarming scene of sportsmanship and camaraderie you see above took place toward the end of yesterday's Holy Cross-Kincardine game in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. The gloves came off after a Kincardine player scored a goal in the waning seconds—Kincardine won, 4-1, so the outcome was no longer in doubt—and then proceeded to taunt the Holy Cross goaltender by pumping his fist as he skated by him. The Peterborough Examiner said the goalie responded with his fists, which touched off "about five separate fights." Both teams had just one player suspended for their next game in the round-robin tournament.
