Despite the presence of veteran pitchman Anthony Sullivan (Oxi-Clean, Sticky Buddy, etc.), we're going to chalk this one up to clever hockey marketing rather than desperation. Why? The Tampa Bay attendance has been pretty damned good. Though off to a disappointing start, the Lightning have had announced sellouts for every game so far this year. (Getting four games for 79 bucks probably doesn't hurt.)
