Patrick Kane scored 11 minutes into tonight's overtime and helped Chicago even their series against the Blues 2-2. Afterward, a reporter asked him if it was the first time he'd ever scored a game-winning goal in overtime.
Kane's scored four winners in OT, including one THAT WON THE STANLEY CUP. It was only one of the most famous goals in hockey's recent history.
And that wasn't even Kane's only playoff OT-winner.
Kudos to Kane for not totally mocking the reporter, responding only with a sly "I'll have to check on that."
Update (2:07 a.m.): The reporter has spoken up, and says it was a failed attempt to get him to talk about his previous OT-winners. OK then.
wow deadspin already! I did ask Kane about GW in OT, trying to lead him into talking about the others - He didn't, and question fell flat.
