Coincidental minor penalties and 1:47 are all that stood between the Chicago Blackhawks and a Game 7 win over the Red Wings.

While Niklas Hjalmarsson was busy celebrating his likely game-winner, Detroit's Kyle Quincy demolished Brandon Saad along the boards, almost pushing him entirely off the ice and into the bench. The two mixed it up for a bit and the referee then called the off-setting penalties. It took the Chicago crowd forever to figure out that they had not actually taken a 2-1 lead with less than two minutes left in Game 7. The teams skated 4-on-4 for the remainder of the period and left to a chorus of boos.

Update: No harm, no foul; Chicago won in overtime on a Brent Seabrook wrister.

Update 11:12 p.m.: These tonsils belong to the man responsible for the game-winner, Brent Seabrook. Via The Score.
