Oxford police took Ole Miss junior offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil into custody and charged him with domestic violence after a Thursday incident that allegedly featured the All-SEC lineman punching his stepfather.

ESPN cites a source stating Tunsil threw the punch in defense of his mother; Rebels head coach Hugh Freeze says Tunsil and his mom are pressing charges against the stepfather, Lindsey Miller. But Miller told the Clarion-Ledger that he was attacked by Tunsil, who struck him “six to seven times.” A judge issued a restraining order against Tunsil on Friday. ESPN projects him to be the fourth overall pick in next year’s NFL draft.
