Taliaferro, who was paralyzed during a 2000 game but recovered enough to lead the Nittany Lions onto the field a year later, is now a Gloucester County (N.J.) freeholder-elect. I don't know what that is! But it has nothing to do with Jerry Sandusky! So yay. When we think about NFL players of the last 10 years or so we'd imagine running for office someday, we can't say that former Ravens linebacker Peter Boulware was the first guy to come to mind. He's never had any problems in his life or anything; it's not like Michael Irvin or anything. (Or, you know, been charged with murder around the Super Bowl.) But we just never imagined him having those kind of ambitions. <a href="http://deadspin.com/299084/vote-boulware-or-something" title="Click here to read more about Vote Boulware! This helpful graphic here serves to make Deadspin as the 40,000th place already today to remind you that it's Election Day, your opportunity to stand in line with blue-haired woman to cast a vote that won't count, will likely not be noticed and will only serve to remind you of the meaninglessness of your singular existence. Woo-hoo! Go America! More »
