Things got scary during a Triple-A game in Salt Lake City last night. Darren Ford, an outfielder in the San Francisco Giants' farm system, took a head-first dive into the wall while laying out for a foul ball.
Ford was taken off the field on a stretcher for precautionary reasons and was later diagnosed with a concussion.
From SF VP Bobby Evans: Darren Ford update: Concussion, and multiple abrasions. Will get results of other tests tomorrow.

Concussions are no good, but from the looks of that video, things could have turned out much worse for Ford.
