Give Your Home a Brain, Indoor Smoker, Cards Against Humanity [Deals]

If you're smart home-curious,  Belkin's WeMo line of outlet and light switches is a great gateway drug into the world of home automation, and several of the most popular models are on sale right now.

The classic  WeMo switch and light switch are both down to $40 from $50, the new energy-monitoring Insight switch is $12 off at $48, and the motion sensing switch is down to $60 from $80. All of these represent solid discounts on what, in my experience, have been very good products.

For some reason, there's also a  7 outlet surge protector on sale for $11 as part of the same promotion. Weird, but good! There are also a few Linksys routers thrown in to round out the Gold Box, but their reviews are pretty dodgy. I'd stick to the Belkin stuff. [Amazon]

By the way, if you're into this kind of stuff, the Philips Hue BR30 starter kit is still $25 off right now, so check that out too.
