Steve Clark got way too casual with this backwards pass from Wil Trapp and gifted Diego Valeri and the Portland Timbers a goal to start MLS Cup. At 27 seconds, this is easily the fastest goal in MLS Cup history.

This is reminiscent of the 9-second goal that Justin Meram scored for Columbus in the first leg of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Portland would score again soon after and take a 2-0 lead in the 7th minute. Not a great sports weekend for Ohio!
