On the way to play under some Friday night lights, Central Catholic's J.V. team bus caught fire and was quickly engulfed in flames during rush-hour traffic last night.

Everyone from the Oregon school made it off the bus safely—you can see the team gathered down the road on the shoulder—but the bus wasn't so lucky. It took firefighters a long time to reach the area since the rush hour slam just started and traffic was backed up considerably. They were eventually able to reach the bus and put out the fire, but it was of little help to the team. Their game was cancelled because the replacement bus also got stuck in traffic.
