We're joined by novelist David Peace. Named one of Granta's Best of Young Novelists in 2003, he's the author of the Red Riding Quartet, the Tokyo Trilogy, GB84, The Damned Utd—"probably the best novel ever written about sport," per The Times—and, most recently, Red or Dead, an exploration of the life and career of legendary Liverpool FC manager Bill Shankly that's out this week from Melville House in its first American edition. David is in the comments below, ready to take your questions on soccer, fiction, and whatever else comes up.
Update: David has to run. Thanks to him for stopping by, and everyone should go check out some of his books.
