Behold the Jimmer, taking and making 15 straight set shots from behind the arc, then buckling just slightly, and closing out the circuit at 21 for 26. "He hasn't missed yet," someone says as he drills his 14th straight shot, and on his first miss — shot number 16 from the left elbow extended — his release looks just uncertain enough for the ball to rim out. Indiana's veteran forward Jeff Foster told the Indianapolis Star this week that he knows he'll be considered the "villain" after a series of hard fouls against the Bulls in the first round. The video above gives an idea of what he's talking about; he's yoked Derrick Rose a couple times, in Games 1 and 3, and landed an elbow directly in Luol Deng's face in Game 3. The NBA ruled both Game 3 fouls to be "flagrant 1" hits after the fact, and so Foster stayed in the game and will not be suspended unless he picks up more points during whatever remains of the series (Chicago leads 3-1). Dan Shulman and Jon Barry tried their damndest to properly announce the Bulls-Pacers game on Saturday, but Derrick Rose made it a difficult task. We can't really blame them. Rose had 39 points in Chicago's 104-99 win, and his baskets were, throughout, brilliant. Brilliant enough to make Barry giggle in delight through most of his calls. "There's no plays I need to call for the Chicago Bulls," he said, after Rose converted an and-one opportunity to pull the Bulls within two points, 99-97, with just under two minutes to play.
