Well, so much for that comeback. It hasn't even been two weeks since his return from a torn achilles, and Kobe's headed back to the shelf. The Lakers announced today that Kobe will be out for six weeks with a fracture of the lateral tibia plateau on his left knee.
Injury Update: Kobe Bryant has a fracture of the lateral tibial plateau in his left knee. He is expected to miss 6 weeks.

The Lakers last played on Tuesday night, and during that game Kobe fell awkwardly while being guarded by Tony Allen—which you can see in the video above—and came up favoring his left knee. Kobe did come back to play the end of that game, which in hindsight was probably not a very good idea.
