We’re a few of days late on this one, but you still probably haven’t seen it because it’s a cricket highlight. Anyway, loogit this damn run out!

That’s Australia’s David Warner running, and South Africa’s Temba Bavuma going airborne to throw him out. It was so impressive that Warner, considered a fast runner and a good fielder, could do nothing but applaud it:

“What a fantastic run out, that was absolutely superb,” Warner told Wide World of Sports.

“I only saw it when I got back into the change room and to throw a ball like that off balance and in mid-air is just phenomenal.

The run out happened during Australia’s second innings, on day four of their Test in Perth. Warner’s decision to run can be explained by the fact that South Africa had put up a monstrous 540 runs in its second innings, and thus Australia needed to pick up runs everywhere they could. And he would’ve gotten away with it, if it weren’t for that meddling Bavuma.
