Edgar Sosa, a former Louisville guard who's now playing for John Calipari's Dominican Republic team in the FIBA Americas Championship, broke his leg after going up for a shot in a game against Panama today. Louisville head coach Rick Pitino announced today that he will not coach the Puerto Rican national basketball team, citing conflicts with his duties at the University of Louisville. The job would have taken him away from the Louisville campus during the fall for a tournament in Brazil, and the NCAA would not allow Pitino to host the Cardinals for its "foreign trip" as Puerto Rico is, technically, not a foreign site. Shots only a few minutes before you have to stumble across the street to your hotel and lay in bed realizing that the most shocking game of the college football season is already complete. Tonight's Orange Bowl game between the Louisville Cardinals and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons starts at 8 p.m., so consider this the post to keep comments lit up . Or I could just put up another Darrent Williams post and let people scream and yell all over that as they did last night. Considering last night's game, however, it's kind of understandable. I think I could've had a post showing a photo of a small child being torn apart by a pack of cheetahs in front of his parents and people still would've chimed in to comment about that Fiesta Bowl.
