Last month, the Cleveland Cavaliers used a projection system on their court for a cool pregame video, and this week, a CHL club did something similar on their rink.

The Halifax Mooseheads of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League put on quite a show before one of their actual games during the second round of playoffs. The rink goes through all sorts of fascinating transformations, getting the crowd ready for some playoff junior hockey.

The system should also be used during the game without warning as a home rink advantage. At least one player would get distracted if the rink "fell out" from under him, right? OK, that's probably a bad idea.
