There are known hazards for NBA players considering playing a year in China: they might not let you out of your contract if the lockout ends, and you could always get hurt, like Michael Beasley apparently did on Monday. But one of the things they don't tell you about is the omnipresent clouds of smoke that hover over everything, even the basketball courts. Three-quarters of Chinese men smoke, and you can do it pretty much anywhere that's not a hospital. The country had to put a temporary indoor smoking ban in place for the Olympics. Some of the messages were sexual, some were surly, but all of these men proclaimed their innocence and denied responsibility for their social-media boners. The Heat will go to Boston for Games 3 and 4 of this series, which should have some influence; the Celtics are 33-8 at the Garden this season. Still, both Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett haven't even broken 20 points in a game this series, while James and Dwyane Wade have combined for 123 of Miami's 201 total points, and they still have guys like James Jones coming off the bench to score 25.
