I rarely comment on Gawker but visit the site and it's sister sites multiple times a day. Seriously, what's with the banning people? Is it a gesture to prove your autocratic power? I get the acerbic tone of the site and as native New Yorker I love it by and in large but the recent editorial shakeups plus this sort of arbitrary provocation are evidence of a lack of creativity on your part. The second half is about to start for you and Gawker... Stop trying to self-fellate your ego and start adding some content that makes me think or laugh, preferably both simultaneously.

Yeah, didn't want to risk a ban but...this really made my day. I lost my harddisk in a crash barely 72 hours ago, and am sadly contemplating a future without my playlist. Hurdy-gurdy man is one of my mostest lovedest songs and my goto track when i'm done with all the Floyd and Blue Oyster Cult numbers on my list. Thank you.
