"There's a long way to go, however—maybe even long enough for Denverites to figure out that their baseball team is good again."
Judging by the fact that there were nearly 200,000 fans at the park during the Giants series, and the stadium was louder than it has been in years, I'd say Denverites have caught on this year.
"The Lausanne-based Court of Arbritation for Sports reduced the sanction by two weeks citing the small sums of money involved - 192 dollars on 36 games - and the fact that he did not bet on games in which he was playing."
Wow...$5 bets on matches he didn't play in. That makes him shady? Seriously?
@Orr's crabapples: Then, at the very end of the show (During top plays) Everett said the line, said he didn't care if it was obscure, and Verett responded with a "Somebody's been reading those internets"
@twoeightnine: I don't believe a single word Cutler says anymore. He wants out and will say or do anything to get what he wants. Would McDaniels rather have Cassel? Probably, but since that is no longer a possibility, the coach is now trying to smooth things out, and Cutler wants no part of it. All he wants to do is cry to the media that he is being mistreated. Guess what? Players way better than Cutler are shopped every day in every sport. Get over it, football is a business and McDaniels should be fired if he doesn't do whatever is in the best interest of the organization.
Good riddance. What has been the common trend throughout this whole escapade? The Broncos try to smooth things out and Cutler gets upset and cries to the media like an eight year old girl cries to her mom. Have fun in Detroit you arrogant immature prick.
