You probably already saw this, but for what it's worth . . .
YES! My GF and I were clicking back and forth between Shell and Kraft and we saw her lining up the shot. My comment was "this has disaster written all over it." That was absolutely stunning - 210 over water, that close, for a kick-in eagle, to win a freaking major? Any other weekend and that gets close to top billing for highlights of the day. Thanks for the heads up.
In response to your comment - Thank you! You are kind of wonderful.
Yeah, I made the mistake of being a smartass on the Consumerist and they dropped the ban hammer. Rob gave me a new account damn near immediately.
Just saw the message you left me a month ago and wanted to just say thanks.
Thank you for the kudos; I have read your work on Deadspin, and I humbly bow to your greatness. Plus, the Dirty Dozen avatar is perfection.
I appreciate that. I've seen enough of your comments to figure you're a fellow Clevelander. Looks like there's a pretty good network of them around here.
Oh Lord, I am. It's actually work related stress. After I posted I suspected we had discussed it.
Where did you hear that about Westbrook? If it's that bad, Mastny pitching in Texas is inexcusable.
@Juancho: I forget her name, but this website:[www.extremefitness.com] has a ton o' honeys...
Jeremy Sowers it is, then. Any word on how well Carmona's recovering?
Westbrook? Tommy John? Nooooooooo!
I live in Sampsonia in the War Streets. Riggs has been my hockey home since I moved back to Pittsburgh three years ago. Cheap beer and otherwise drunk-friendly environment. It's a love affair, between me and a bar. You should show on Wednesday. Good times.
Just changed the avatar, that was one long week. I don't think you ever answered my question, btw. Got a good script I can Produce? Serious about that.
re: catholic girls: i know, i married one!
That Cleveland-Boston column today still has me mad. It's the same half-true accusations and complaints every time someone national writes about the Cavs. Where are all the idiots now who said the Cavs wouldn't even make the playoffs? Sigh.
Welllll you know, if you've got 'em...!Kidding!He's kind of crazy though.LOVES women and and is obsessed with capturing the female face. Not in a creepy way though...!!!Yip, I'd be more inclined towards Klimt now than Lautrec myself but then I'd be more interested in Beardsley than all of them really. However I feel ignorant having discovered that I didn't know of Mucha's existence.I'll study up!!Must apologise for the atrocious spelling on last message. 'Odd'?That was supposed to be 'off'.My eagerness ran away with me -
C.
Aha!!I thought you were referring to an Irish spelling of some sort.I must get odd my own bandwagon some time...It's similar alright!Reminds me of Aubrey Beardsley too?
No, above pic is a friend of the family, an Irish artist called Jim Fitzpatrick who is most famous for illustrating Irish myths and legends and in particular a series on the Children of Lir.He was pretty big in the 70's and his stuff is a little glam rock(Thin Lizzy) and kitschy(The Che Guavara iconic portrait) but I love it.Link!

Hello again a Juancho,
I have to confess, I really don't know what a 'Mucha' is?Maybe it's the spelling that's confounding me?
