Yes, I am way more of a baseball fan than a football fan, but I don't buy the "game is so slow" argument. Football isn't much better...if you watched from snap to tackle/whistle on each play, it'd probably only be about 15 minutes long. And sitting in the stands during TV timeouts is MISERY.
