Once again the crappy state of OVC officiating rears its ugly head.
MadCatz TE stick (I've got the limited Femme Fatale one) for all the Japanese fighting games and the Mad Catz fight pad for Mortal Kombat.
Dissidia 1 and 2 are both on PSN. Dissidia 1 was late by about 3-4 months AFTER the disk release. Not sure why the FF 1/2 remakes and Crisis Core aren't on there, but it's always been rumored Disney blocked the PSN release of Birth By Sleep in both Japan and US.
I'm assuming there's going to be some amount of time this will fall under an NDA. I mean why steal press away from your biggest game of 2011? (ME 3 comes out the same day.)
At my store it's locked up in the same display they use for PS Move videos (it just had a section added on to house the Vita.)
About damn time Kotaku featured one of the sexiest US cosplayers.

You're welcome guys and gals.

Dana White to Diaz as he walks away: "Wait Nick, you can't go; you're the preorder bonus for UFC Undisputed 3 at Gamestop next week!"
Yeah given that the disc release of SSFIV Arcade Edition only sold 400k worldwide (to be fair it was also sold as a $15 DLC for SSFIV) and UMvC 3 only sold 900k worldwide, I think Capcom has learned their lesson.

Just be ready for a crapton of costume pack/gem DLC, along with $5/character DLC.

Incorrect. If you had the Sony PS2 HDD from FF XI, it would stream highlights the same way. All of the ESPN 2K5 sports games did this.
How is the pass rush in 2K5 inferior to what its like today? I understand the no screen passes and different kickoff line but that line confuses me.
Only at events like PAX maybe. Major records the podcast at Microsoft.
One word: Goodwill. Just like what Target does with their clearance stuff that doesn't sell.
For those wondering about the RROD console, when DMaul bought a slim 360 from Best Buy, he just left the old one with them for their recycling service. Instead of being recycled, apparently it was repaired and used in the same general area (ie where he lives and where the BB is located) for hacking "MS employees" as he was told.

So there were 2 different places in the same general vicinity where his account was logging in from. He was using the service normally, someone else was using it to steal accounts.

Many people don't know about it because their only marketing is stories on blogs.
After a coupon and another discount, I paid $76.50 for my Hardened Edition on launch day. If you find one in a store, you can buy a HE for $80 at Gamestop currently. Those have Elite bundled with it.
You can take White Castle, bleh.
I absolutely hated the controls of that game with a passion. Physics, great. Controls, blah.
And this is why STL residents like myself try to ignore East St. Louis and North St. Louis County/City but have to live with the rep those areas give us.
Once again Owen and PastaPadre prove they are the two best dedicated sports video game journalists period (an honorable mention to Jeff Gertsmann for his knowledge of wrestling and arcade, mainly Midway's, sports games.) Fantastic read as always Owen.

Have to say I never bought a single edition of Madden on PS1, it was Gameday each year. It looked better and played better. Even John Madden has admitted he complained to EA it was way too easy on the PS1 Madden games to chuck hail mary's on 4th and long instead of punting and being successful way too often (I believe that was a commentary he made on either the Madden 05 or 07 CE.) Madden IMO was the arcade game during the PS1 era and while Gameday wasn't a super sim, it was close enough.

To me the day Gameday died was the (old) PSM hi-res cover of how Eddie George would look in Madden 2001. As that magazine made the rounds at Murray State in the spring of 2000, no one gave Gameday a 2nd thought. That view was proven correct in Oct. of that year when Madden 2001 was one of the PS2's killer apps and Gameday was a broken, ugly mess.

They already said last year they weren't doing anything with that one, hence the new downloadable one this year. Pastapadre.com is the only other source other than Owen I trust on news about sports video games.
