@Steve U: Agreed. Most of the landmarks in that film no longer exist.

@mikedrawcar: Agreed. Although El Diablo Coffee on Capitol Hill is fantastic.

@DAGOTRON: I see why people like them, but they're not my type of music though.

Good evening all.

I haven't been around in a while, so I understand if I get the axe, but If I'm going down, I'm taking all of the lazy fuckers who make the horrible suicide/rain/grunge music jokes about Seattle with me.

Alright all, I'm done.

Take care and have a good night.

@jgaugust: Even the sitar sounded badass on "Love You To" and "Tomorrow Never Knows."

But yeah, it's a difficult argument on any side between Sgt. Pepper's and Pet Sounds.

@Rock You Like An Iracane: I'm of the opinion that the song was just a piss take by the Beatles to see if their audience would buy into the song as genius.

@jgaugust: Any album that has "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" on it should immediately be disqualified from "Best Album Ever" contention. Other than that The White Album was pretty solid. Sgt. Pepper's was brilliant in its concept and structure, but for a straightforward rock 'n roll album, I'll take Revolver over any other Beatles record.
@jgaugust: I prefer Revolver far more than Sgt. Pepper's and The White Album. You can't go wrong with any of the three though.
@Stabby McStabberson: Kylie Minogue, Kylie Minogue, Natalie Portman, Kylie Minogue and Lacey Chabert.
@CoolHwhip: No. It's one of the few movies that I think should be required viewing for everybody. I don't care how you were tipped off to it, just as long as you saw it.
@CoolHwhip: +1 skateboard upside the head for you!

That movie is horribly evil. And brilliant. And depicted how my high school friends acted (save for the HIV scares).

@CherriSpryte: Or how about bringing along your friend, who only had sex with one person and then your friend finds out she's HIV postive?

...too obscure?

@CoolHwhip: As an average over the past six months or just a sample from last week? When I wasn't working, I consumed far too much television for my own good.

So, average from the past six months: 30-40
From the past week: 10-12 (mostly M's games)
During the summer (usually): 4-6

@Craig Eshericks Mustache: Scan their computers for viruses.
@MarissaExplainsItAll: During the week I have work and by the time I get online, it's like 9 PST. I still can't come up with a reasonable explanation for the lack of west coast commenters.
@JimEverettsPhantomSack: You're replacing one addiction for another, horrible mistake.

If you can get through the first three days without nicotine, you can get through the rest of it...it's a quick withdrawal.

@MarissaExplainsItAll: Welcome to DUAN's fatal flaw: Too few commenters on the west coast to keep DUAN going.
@The HZA. [member of the zombie nation]: Admittedly, every time I'm in Spokane, I'm drunk and don't remember much. Haven't been over there in a few years though.
@The HZA. [member of the zombie nation]: I am able to buy it in Spokane for about 4 bucks.

Also available in Spokane for $4? A hit of meth and a transient from Idaho.

@ClintonPortishead: Just remember, say no to drugs (until they lower they price).

I thought that's what my medical insurance was for.

@Le Sighing My Way Through Life: If you're genuinely interested in the sport, go ahead and pick his brain. If you're not interested, you'll only annoy and frustrate him.
@Pat Pelletier: Look, the "Dayspin" posts and subsequent comments are intended to "bring the funny or GTFO." DUAN is meant for general conversation with a few jokes peppered in; it's not a one-liner contest that the regular posts tend to be.

If you're looking for funny tonight, I suggest "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle." It makes me laugh every time.
