As a Patriots fan, I sure as shit prefer this to that two-year span when Brady would throw a pick and then sit on the bench and stare catatonicly straight ahead until he had to go back out there. An emotional Brady is a better Brady.
They played once this year, in Vancouver, and it was a pretty amazing game. If they were able to ramp it up against each other like that for a meaningless mid-season game, I think a best-of-seven for the most coveted prize in sports would be well worth watching.
@kgetz: Everything that's being said about Danny Woodhead was already said about Warrick Dunn. I don't watch enough Ravens games to know, but I bet they say the same stuff about Ray Rice.
Early retirement may well have saved him his mental stability and full use of his knees for the rest of his life, but I sure could have watched him run for another 6 or 7 years. Selfish prick.
