If any of this linguistic whitewashing is new to you, 1) Congratulations on your first day of Business 101, and 2) Having a manager who uses such an approach is not such a bad thing... it means you work for a company who values (at worst, on surface) the experience and interaction with its employees.

Some call it "corporate doublespeak", but in truth this is the result of any successful company built on the pillars of being a 'corporate family' and not simply a corporation.
