@Travis Kittlitz: The couplers and hose clamps are probably off some other customer's car too.
@Roberto G.: It's not about having "different ideas", it's about denying concrete evidence and claiming that subject matter experts don't know what they're talking about. Just because people have "different ideas" doesn't mean that those ideas aren't stupid.
@Froggmann: I dunno man, it'd be the TOW missiles that I'd really be worried about.
@capin-merica: Liberty University isn't a real school, buddy.
@artless.dodger: Whoah there. Roethlisberger was ACCUSED of rape. Big difference. But that won't stop you from claiming otherwise, will it.
@haus_frau: I agree. Dylan may have created a bit of a fake persona, but I think in general, he believed in the things he sang about and the movement he associated himself with.
@haus_frau: Are you telling me that Robert Johnson DIDN'T sell his soul to the devil for his guitar skills?
@retrohookup: Gawd, the Steelers aren't going to trade Roethlisberger. He's won 2 fucking Super Bowls there. The NFL isn't a club for nice people to hang out in, it's a place to win football games. Roethlisberger gives the Steelers far and away the best chance to do that. Plus, there won't be any charges brought against Ben, and there's that whole "innocent until proven guilty". Ben's only gonna serve a 4 game suspension, which was really undeserved anyways. The rest of the rumors are just a bunch of yinzers running their mouths.
@TexanIdiot25: II The Return: It's more like BLUE "TRUCK" OUT OF NOWHERE. Looks like it's closer to a Craftsman Truck series vehicle than anything else.
@seabiscuit: So now it's the guy's fault s that they can't see through the "awkward quiet mess" to see the real you, and instead are interested in your fun, outgoing friends and roommates? That doesn't seem like a particularly helpful attitude to have either. When it comes down to it, everyone's responsible for their own happiness. You can't expect people to give it to you, so if you really want it, you may have to work at it.
@patman: Yeah, but the answer to the second question is to just stop racing at Daytona.
@motorcityjeepdude: Just because something only makes a small positive impact doesn't mean it's worthless. And just because someone in favor of anti-idling laws may go racing on the weekends or didn't buy an Insight, doesn't mean that not idling your car excessively isn't a good idea.
@MajorOutage: Maybe if you're stopped sometime in the range of 0-15 seconds, the amount of extra fuel it takes to accelerate the rotating masses in the engine would be more. But any more than that and it would be more fuel efficient to shut the engine down and restart it. It gets even better when you have a hybrid system that you can use to get the vehicle moving, and THEN turn the engine back on. But either way, the advantage is there, whether you choose to admit it or not.
@knyghtryda: Some people enjoy being stupid. Why would you want to deny rufus that enjoyment?
@MajorOutage: And you know this, how?
@LandofMinos, In Soviet Australia, internet censors you: If your engine is up to temperature, shutting off the engine at a stoplight isn't going to cause it to cool down and contract significantly. And if you are stopped long enough for it to cool down to ambient, you really should be shutting off your engine. But hey, there's retards in the USA too.
@_slipstream: Yeah, it's bizarre to me that people feel the need to celebrate how much they personally pollute. It's definitely a new kind of smug too. An easy way to get cred among all the other mouth-breathers is to brag about how much extra you polluted today.
@clevemire: So, you're saying that proponents of this measure haven't done everything possible to protect the environment. Therefore, the measure itself is bad? That's a logical fallacy, buddy. Also, "elitist hippies" isn't exactly an accurate characterization of all the people who support this measure, and is more of an ad hominem attack anyways.
@Ash78, Be Quiet and Drive: Unfortunately, many cars are frickin' huge now. The new Camaro looks good, until you see one in person and realize that it's a whale. Ditto for the Challenger. The Corvette is one of the few cars that's managed to retain its fairly svelte proportions from the C4 'Vette days. But, some people happen to like the bigger girls, and this one just happens to be wicked fucking fast.
@Beer_Fart: No one is saying that Milton Bradley's behavioral issues is a reflection of his race. All it's saying is that Bradley's behavior makes him a poor role model for black kids who may be getting into baseball. This puts a lot of undeserved pressure on the relatively blank slate of Jason Heyward to be that role model.
