Serious answer - what about Upendo and Uhuru ('love' and 'freedom' in Swahili, respectively)? Not mindblowingly original, but they're nice words and there are plenty of baboons in Swahili-speaking countries.
@pssshwhatever: I hate "kissed a girl," but now that she's with him I find I like her a bit (as much as one can like a celebrity who's art one is indifferent to) because she's got the Russell Brand seal of approval.

This is hardly the "best" game I've seen, but it was one of the most memorable. I was in the press box, and what I remember most clearly is the gradual change in the fans' attitudes as the Sabres racked up the score. At first, they were cheering for the Oilers, and then they stopped cheering for anyone. Then, they started cheering sarcastically for the home team. When the Oilers would complete a pass, or when the goalie would make a simple save, a snide cheer would go up. Then the Edmonton fans gave up all pretense, and started chanting "We want 10."
It would have been a shitty game to watch on TV, but to see it live was a really memorable experience.
@cate3710: I thought so too, but if you look at the big version, you can see she's just standing awkwardly. You can see part of her arm, and her hand on her other hip. Phew.
@RedLineRage: I did, especially when it was really early in the situation and we didn't know what had happened. As it became more clear, I began to think that it was an opportunity to have an open discussion about domestic violence, though of course that still involves discussing someone else's relationship, which makes it complicated.
And in the comments...we have more speculation!
I hope that Woods fully recovers from whatever injuries he has sustained, and that he and his wife can continue to live their lives with the amount of privacy that they choose. Obviously, I also hope that there was no domestic violence involved, but even there was that is between them and the police.

Love it - I've followed the World of Today since you were featured on Gawker so many moons ago...
But I hadn't caught that you were blogging here. Congratulations. Great post. #cyberwarfare
Question for American legal eagles... Had this case come up later (ie a year from now when Sotomayor's on the court - fingers crossed) what would happen? Would she recuse herself, and if so, how would they make up the numbers on the Court so it's not an even number?
