I hate United with a fiery passion, but that was one wondrous strike. City probably deserved a point, but a moment of genius like that is worthy of the the spoils.
@Always Winning: I mean, I'm not even a Jags fan, but wow. That's just nuts.

And yeah, the entire bench just rushing the endzone was out of control. Making them kick the extra point really is like a kick in the groin to the Texans.
HOLY SHIT JACKSONVILLE!
@Jehovahs Witness Protection Program: Pure and sheer genius. God damn that was awesome.
@HockeyMountain: This is the only reason I hate DirecTV. I can only get the east coast feeds of everything.
@HockeyMountain: I am confused. I just turned on FX. I do not see it on there. I see some shitty Jodie Foster movie.
@MarissaExplainsItAll: If that's true, Josh Powell and DJ Mbenga are going to get a lot of minutes.
@UpstateUnderdog: I like your thinking sir. You are an intelligent person and a credit to your race.
@Sarah Schorno: Thanks for the calming words. I don't think I can overstate how much we all appreciate you here.
@MarissaExplainsItAll: Depends in all honesty. We got our shit together in the middle of the second half of game 5 and never looked back. We figured out Denver's pressure D and they didn't stand a chance once we got to Pau/Odom on the post.

I really don't know how to defend/score against Dwight though. He's so big and physical that it's going to pose major issues for us on the blocks. Best guess is that they'll put someone like Pau/Odom on Lewis and then have Bynum to start on Howard and double if he gets in down low. Ariza can cover the outside shooters and there isn't a major PG problem this series like we had with Denver/Houston.

@UpstateUnderdog: Much appreciated. Not sure I'm going to have all that much time now that I have a full-time job, but if I ever get a long weekend or something, it is definitely something to consider. My roommate and I play and I know we've both been looking for courses to play.
@SomeAuthorGirl: I've always grown up with the cart so I'm kind of a pussy like that. Most courses in LA need them given the terrain and some even require them. I need to find a course to walk that isn't to strenuous and then I'll do it again.

That said, I've walked some cheap publics out here in LA. Fun times indeed.

Long live golf and those who play it.

@UpstateUnderdog: I'm moving to NYC this week permanently after going to school there for 4 years. I want to play some of those upstate courses if I ever got the chance.
@SomeAuthorGirl: That's fucking awesome. It's makes girls out of "men" so many times that I think more people should pay the green fees for said dbags and watch them crumble.

Also, I can't even imagine what playing a course in the summer in NoVa would be like. It must be sweltering out there.

@MarissaExplainsItAll: I'm thinking 6 games. Orlando creates major matchup problems and they are bound to be hot for a couple of games. We need to win game 1 and from there I think game 2 is a natural victory at home. If we go up 2-0, I don't see us losing the series. If it is 1-1, I think we have problems.
@Texpatriate: Yeah, I didn't really understand this point. How on earth has this been a perennially close rivalry? One team (Dodgers) has won World Series since the move to California and consistently wins the West. The other team (Giants) have won 0 World Series since moving to California and barely ever makes the playoffs.

Rivalry my ass.

@StevePerryPsychOut: Christ. I wouldn't even touch a golf club if I had those kinds of problems. Props to ya for trying.

@SomeAuthorGirl: I would love to see some of those people who think golf isn't a sport to play a full round in the humidity of one of the east coast courses or Hawaii. They'll be straight up exhausted by the time they make the turn.

Golf is one of the most physically exhausting sports a person can play. Only those who play it understand this fact.

@CanHeHackett: This is why I still think what TW did at the Open last year was one of the most ridiculous sports feats of all time. How anyone can walk that much (91 holes), swing that well and win a major on essentially a broken leg/torn ACL and MCL, I will have absolutely no clue.
@ClintonPortishead: Golf will absolutely do that to you. If you go out on a range for a while and hit a large bucket, you'll feel really sore for a bit. It's one of those sports where if you don't know how to swing properly, your body will be telling you that fact the next day.

Also, does anyone else feel bad about the Mickelson man tits jokes anymore now that his wife has breast cancer? I kinda do.

/apologizes for being a pussy
