@BigTenObsession: I sure did. Not saying Deadspin tacitly approves of what Saban said, but repeating it in the headline does, you know, condone it and attempts to diminish the racist vulgarity.
I'm not thinking Deadspin would have a post referring to the Bayou Classic as the n-r bowl, so why is coonass ok?
Will a freezer save you money?

What's $Bill say?

@jusooho: Thank you for saying that.

We spent relative fortune on our wedding, it kicked ass, and our guests had a great time.

Guess I'm just stupid for spending money on "memories."

Please limit unsportsmanlike conduct to chop blocks.
Again, because you say so. If only I could get away with "It just is, okay!" at my job.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. It takes me much longer because I'm ignorant.

@little stripes: Because you say so?

I'm doing what the toilet is intended for, the process is completely natural, and some cultures don't make a big deal out of it.

If we haul out the "get over it, it's nature" argument, where does it lead? It leads to my sister-in-law whipping her tit out at the Thanksgiving Dinner table, that's where.

I'm headed to Lowe's to go check out the toilets.
As I've no beef with Verizon, I'll go ahead and play devil's advocate:

Just because it's not answered doesn't mean it's not read. Perhaps the intent of the "disclaimer" is let you know that you won't get a personalized response, but if it's an easy enough question, the "agent" in India will fix it without your input. Or, they have automated keyword recognition such that a query of "How do I check my voice mail" is replied to with instructions.

Now, is that likely to happen? Of course not. In any event, I doubt it's actually intended to mean what everyone is reading it as saying.

OP had it coming. You saw how he was dressed.
It's not so much advice, but statement of fact:

AT&T ain't gonna budge on that $750. When I sold phones for them it was rare you ever got someone with worse credit (resulting in a $1000 deposit). The store manager doesn't care what kind of payment history you have with your other carrier, that you're going through a divorce, or that you really really really want an iPhone. He doesn't want his DM beating him to death with a phonebook if he somehow manages to find a way to "waive" that full 750.

Moreover, the iPhone won't make you feel any better.

@nsv: Closing down all of the "pain management clinics" would be a good place to start.
I'd be much more interested to know the PERCENTAGE of users that die from overdoses of each type of drug.

Raw numbers of deaths caused by "x" are meaningless when the size of each user base is unknown, and what, if any, crossover there is.

989 drug deaths seems much smaller than 2,000+ Rx deaths, unless you figure there are 1000 drug users (hyperbole people!), as opposed to 1M plus legal narcotics users.

That said, I think drugs should be legalized yesterday. It's just counterproductive to site as justification studies that stress the sound bite result than making more complicated arguments..
