No. It's crafted from the hides of the now extinct vinyl bird. #oppositelock
Still pretty good.
Damn, that one Jaaaaag had some ugly ass damage.
Plus, I love how Americans don't like the proper pronunciation of "Regina".
My wife and I were going to go there, just to say we'd been, but the utter lack of topography and scenery driving across Manitoba had us bailing on a dirt road to far western ND.
That's the beauty of traveling with no plan other than, "we'll be back before we get stuck in winter, somewhere". Want to make a radical change? Not an issue when you're not changing a 'plan'. #oppositelock
Back in the old days, there were these things called 'wheel covers'. They were similar to hub caps, but covered the entire wheel.
:-)
Thank you for referring to them as 'wheels' and not 'rims'. The rim is a part of a wheel, not the whole thing.
Pffft. Lissen here, kid, there's this thing we old-timers use...it's called control-F.
NOW GIT OFFA MY LAWN!
(just search for "id", quotes and all)

I don't much care I'm not using the phrase above, correctly. #oppositelock
Sure, kinda plain, but better than walkin'. #oppositelock
My apologies for the crap sentence structure. Not much sleep last night due to mango habanero and spicy garlic boneless 'wings' and a few tall Rahr Iron Thistles at BW3, last night.
There are food/beverage combos Gaviscon cannot aid with. This is one of them, I've learned. #oppositelock
I. Am. Miffed.
I missed Hammond being at TMS! That's just down the freeway from where I work!
Damn. It.
Those three guys are in the very small group of famous people I'd like to meet. Most, I could not care less about, but these three... #oppositelock
263783. I spend too much time here, but it's better than the alternative.
We should all change our screen name to the user ID. Just tease Nibbles... #oppositelock
Not a scratch on me, save for the three compound fractures. My wife, no road rash but she got got good by a couple of sharp rocks.
I broke 15 bones, her a dozen. Let me tell you, there were times for a couple of years afterward during which death would have been a more desirable option.
Do I regret riding? Not at all. I regret going out that day, but my crystal ball was in the shop.
I'm glad you took a class. When you get a machine, PLEASE take an MSF course. I've had two of them, and the advanced class had me trusting my machine/tires/skills to a degree I did not think was possible.
FWIW, I have a slew of titanium in me. My pelvis x-rays look like an erector set gone wrong.
Wait...that doesn't read properly. Erector...gone wrong...never mind.
Oh, and the ankle-to-knee, diameter of a normal finger rod in my left leg, no more screws...they broke... I lost the hardware I kept after it was removed. Doc's assistant tossed what they took out of my right elbow, and that irks me. My wife and I were going to make 'art' out of what they removed over time.
I still have enough titanium in me for a 4-cylinder valvetrain.
The nice thing is, it doesn't set of newer metal detectors, unless they're cranked up pretty high.
Thanks. #oppositelock
I've off-roaded a Mercedes sedan, my wife's RX300 has had one rear wheel airborne, intentionally, and I even gently off-roaded my old '73 Coupe deVille.
I still want a '98 5.9L, though. I'm a masochist, I guess. #oppositelock
That guy is pretty humorous. I'm guessing the Li is Jet Li. Have no clue who Couture is.
Dolph, I could do without. Same with Van Damme. #oppositelock
Before it ran, I sanded most of it, primered here and there, did a bunch of non-mechanical stuff to it.
Then, once my father honored his promise to have the 318 rebuilt, I started on the mechanical aspect.
A Jalop was born.
In retrospect, it's a wonder nobody ever confronted him about having a dead vehicle in the driveway for several years. Was a nice neighborhood...though it wasn't all that obvious the truck was there.
