So was Cory Lidle paying tribute to 9/11?
I'm quite enjoying the x64 version. Most software and drivers that I've needed so far have worked. I just hope they come out with some sort of transition package for RC1 users to migrate to full Win7 instead of wiping and reinstalling. A beta tester's discount would be nice too :-)

One tip- when I was running the installer from boot, it wouldn't install to my SATA drive set to AHCI. Despite all the drivers that I tried, the only thing that worked was unplugging my second SATA drive. Go figure.

If A&F pulls this off, I'm copyrighting "New York" immediately.
With no TO, there must not be enough hot air.
However, the Canucks have swept the Blues, so obviously the team is now immune to jinxes.
The cubs would like to buy vancouver's rock.
I'm not defending the clerk's actions, but as a former Best Buy employee I know where she's coming from. Employees are required to sell a certain amount of warranties and service plans or they're reprimanded. Instead of paying commission on these items, they flip it around and require you to sell them to keep your job, even when they're a bad deal.

Certainly a clerk should never stoop to this, but perhaps Brookstone's policies are pushing her to this.

@Dany Heatley Speedwagon: So then, so then another guy who has retired is Brett Favre. BOOM! That guy could make plays from the quarterback position.
This must be their new business plan. Between the economy and the fact that they're just unnecessary, they can't be making any money.
vote: Fedora

I barked up the Ubuntu tree for a long time, but now I love Fedora. 10 is awesome.

Unfortunately, even the candy at Best Buy is overpriced! Last time I was there, it was something like $1.39 for a pack of M&Ms!
@batsy: There's no way that this policy is sanctioned by Starbucks corporate. Their reputation is their business and I have no doubt they will react quickly and decisively. They absolutely hate bad press, and having this story all over the tubes will freak them out. I fully expect an "Update" post within the week with a resolution.
Is that Adriana from The Sopranos? Poor choice of witness protection. Silvio must have missed.
Best wishes Gina. Make sure to keep us up to date on what you've been working on!
Is that pucker?

Bush league kids. Bush league.

On a recent United flight, there were so many carry-on bags that all the overhead bins were filled before the plane was half full with passengers. Remaining passengers were forced to check their bags at the last second. Not "plane-side" check-in, but regular checked baggage done at the plane itself. The process held our flight for 20+ minutes.
Cuban.
Leinart: What have you done for me lately? At least Cuban's doing the Martha Stewart thing. Maybe he'll knit Nowitzki a sweater for when he goes cold right before the playoffs.
Anyone else find it odd (or ironic) that the Deadspin RSS has ads for an Obituary Archive?
Where's Baby Mangino in the SHOTY pic?
Soon he'll be in England, learning how to fight like a real football hooligan.
