One tip- when I was running the installer from boot, it wouldn't install to my SATA drive set to AHCI. Despite all the drivers that I tried, the only thing that worked was unplugging my second SATA drive. Go figure.
Certainly a clerk should never stoop to this, but perhaps Brookstone's policies are pushing her to this.
I barked up the Ubuntu tree for a long time, but now I love Fedora. 10 is awesome.
