@acer: I think the tax/refunds associated with beer cans are higher than pop cans, so the homeless are probably gaming the system trying to pass off pop cans as beer cans.
@Pepelekill: from the article a .243 or 25-06 couldn't open most of the locks, the master lock even stopped a 300 win mag - there's no way a .223 is going to those locks
@P. Escobar, Jets Fan: I wish they were only silverfish... check out house centipedes - and I don't know why this one is eating a pickle but that's scary too.
@GHNeko: Wait.. doesn't he have complex eyes anyway? I'd say he sees enough of the road looking any direction to drive safely.
I agree w/ Dr Evil Genius, this grasshopper probably drives better than most people.
@iconoclasttt: but at 5V? A few mA at 120V or 240V can indeed kill someone, highly unlikely that this was caused by USB (5V@.5A=2.5W).
@masshuum: Agreed that the injury was caused by a higher voltage. Wouldn't be surprised to find out the 120V electrical outlet the charger was plugged into was improperly grounded and/or had a floating neutral allowing a dangerous potential difference to develop.
@whootowl: I love it.. most hotel rooms have 1 outlet near the desk, plus I can leave my small AC chargers at home, as long as the gadgets can charge from USB port.
Did any research go into this post? Express card is supported on new laptops, usually HDDs have their own power so you probably won't need the AC adapter, and StarTech actually makes really great products and supports them well (for 24 years).
