In 15 games, Peyton Manning broke the NFL record for most touchdown passes in one season.

Manning threw for his 51st touchdown—a 25-yard pass to Julius Thomas—against the Texans for a 37-13 lead. He received congratulations and handshakes from his teammates after breaking the record. It was his fourth touchdown pass of the game.

Tom Brady held the previous record with 50 passing TDs in his 2007 campaign.
