For the moment, I'm going to ignore the people who would tell you that "The Masters doesn't start until the back nine on Sunday." I've been watching for almost an hour already, and there's no way that Miguel Angel Jimenez's fucking head is bothering me this much without the tournament having started.
Jose Maria Olazabal has birdied five of the first eight holes to move to -2 and put his name very much into contention. Freddie Couples has a birdie and is tied for the lead with Phil Mickelson, and Tiger just missed a 15-footer that would've put him at -4 as well.
This is one of the best sports Sundays of the year. And there are a lot of things that irk me about Augusta National and The Masters, but you can't argue with only 4 minutes of commercials per hour. Even if one of them is ExxonMobil telling you how great they are for the environment.

I am with you on Miguel Angel Jimenez's ponytail. It actually kind of disgusts me a little, and I find myself having to change the channel whenever he is on. The only thing he is missing is putting that little 'fro through the hole in the back of his hat like a chick.
The leaderboard couldn't get too much better, there are no three people i'd rather see than Fred, Tiger, and Phil. I'm still holding out hope somebody lights JimenETH's ponytail on fire. The Spaniards play Augusta a little too well.
Don't forget Phil Mickelson's emerging hockey hair/mullet thing he's sporting. Just as good.
Anyone who follows the European Tour (I know, dumb qualifier, obviously that's all of you), knows that Jimenez has had the pony tail for several years, so if it's a mid-life crisis, it's a long one. Anyway, shouldn't we be supporting anyone who does something off-center in the staid, plaid world of golf? I'm rooting for Jimenez and his ponytail, and the rest of you can go to hell. To hell!
My favorite part of Masters Sunday is the multiple appearances of awkward old Southern guys in green jackets.
His pony tail didn't bother me as much as his man tits.
